Quantitative Research
Basically, anything can be analysed that can be reasonably encoded with a number. Thus, the results always show up as a list of numerical values and can immediately be analysed in many different ways. Multi-Value employs specialised personnel for conducting quantitative research. They take care of organising and preparing research, as well as coordinating field work and the final report. In evaluation, our professional team develops charts and graphs to visualise the respective dataset. Naturally, written-out test results and test series in table form are included as well. Especially important to us is that the processed data is user-friendly. A clear but detailed illustration is our aim here. If you wish for an in-house analysis, any raw data is of course at your disposal.

Limits of quantitative research
Maybe you found out through quantitative research that 65% of your customers buy more often at a rival business than at your own. Now it would of course be interesting to know why. In order to answer that question, however, a different approach is needed. Qualitative research is a method of much smaller scale and is usually done by face-to-face depth interviews, or group interviews, respectively.
Usually, both methods (qualitative and quantitative) are coupled, in order to gain an insight into your customer’s motivations and reasons, besides the statistical overview charts and data provide. |
